How many guest rooms are at Ascent on Main?

Ascent on Main has 51 elegantly appointed guest rooms featuring one king or two queen size beds. Within the guest rooms, we have two types of guest rooms that allow for fresh Colorado air for you to choose from depending on your length of stay and the occasion.

What kind of open-air guest rooms does Ascent on Main have?

We have 2 different rooms for your consideration at Ascent on Main. The following is a description of our balcony room:

Pike's Peak King Balcony
In this suite-like room, guests can take in the fresh Colorado air on their step-out balcony with seating for two and views of Pikes Peak. An exquisitely appointed guest room featuring one king-sized bed with a high-backed occasional chair and a small desk for returning emails.

‍Northern Plains King Balconette
In this room, guests can take in the fresh Colorado air on their Juliet balconies. This exquisitely appointed guest suite features one king bedroom with a high-backed occasional chair and a small desk for returning emails.

Do your rooms have balconies?

Yes, several of our rooms do have step-out balconies on the south side of the building, overlooking Mainstreet with views of Pikes Peak. The Northern Plains Balconette rooms are on the north side of the building and have a sliding glass door with railing just on the exterior of the door. When selecting your room during the reservation process, choose between the Full Balcony guest rooms, called Pikes Peak King Balcony and the Balconette guest rooms called Northern Plains King Balconette.

What amenities are provided in the guest rooms?

Our rooms have modern comforts that you would expect including 55” LCD televisions, mini-fridge, in-room Keurig coffeemakers, Wi-Fi, bedside lamps with charging pad, flexible workspace, in-cabinet safe, hairdryer, backlit vanity mirrors, available irons and board, and available yoga mats.

Do your rooms have showers or bathtubs?

Our guest rooms mainly consist of walk-in showers with a small ledge/step into the shower. In addition, our ADA rooms have accessible showers, lowered beds and lowered vanities with wheelchair accessibility.

Do your rooms have safes?

Yes, the guest rooms do have safes. They are cabinet safes for which you create your own security code. The safes are approximately 18" x 6" — large enough to accommodate numerous electronic devices.

What kind of pillows are in your guest rooms?

Each of our guest rooms have a firm pillow and a sifter pillow made of a down feather mix. If you are allergic to feathers, please contact guest services at (720) 572-1910 and we can arrange for foam pillows in your guest room prior to your arrival at Ascent.

Do your guest rooms have microwaves or refrigerators?

Our rooms have a refrigerator.

Do you have connecting rooms?

We do not have connecting rooms.

Do you have rooms that are accessible?

Yes, we have a variety of rooms based on your needs for accessibility including roll-in showers, hearing impaired, lowered guest beds and lowered vanities that accommodate a wheelchair.

Is Ascent on Main pet friendly?

Yes, Ascent on Main is a dog-friendly hotel. Your $75 non-refundable deposit includes a welcome treat bag, use of water/food bowls, and a bed if needed. This pet fee includes up to two dogs. Additional dogs require an additional $75 fee for each additional dog after two dogs. Please keep your dog on a leash when walking inside and around Ascent on Main.

Are you affiliated with a major brand?

We are locally-owned and an Independent Boutique Hotel. We are a Lifestyle Preferred Hotel & Resort. Preferred Hotels represent independent hotels and require that each of its member hotels conform to the Preferred Standards of Excellence™. Preferred Hotels has a Membership Reward Program called iPrefer and can be joined through this link.

I did not receive my confirmation email for my stay. What should I do?

Please contact Ascent on Main guest services at (720) 572-1910 and they can verify your upcoming stay with us and confirm your email address.

Do you have onsite parking?

We offer free parking in the L-shaped lot behind the building and street-side parking. During busy restaurant hours, we offer complimentary valet to our guests.

Do your guest rooms have work desks?

Our Pikes Peak King room, Northern Plains King room and our Double Queen guest rooms are set-up with a small desk you can utilize for emails.

Are cribs or pack-n-plays available?

We have pack-n-plays available. Please call guest services at (720) 572-1910 to make arrangements to have one placed in your room prior to arrival.

Dining

Does Ascent on Main have restaurants onsite?

Yes, we have multiple dining options. Upper Deck is located on the second floor of Ascent on Main, with indoor and outdoor dining including a 2,500 square foot deck with an outdoor pergola covered patio, mounted TVs, cornhole on the turf, fire pit with sofas, and lots of space for dining. For a slightly higher-end evening, we offer The Douglas Kitchen & Cocktails restaurant which showcases seasonal elevated comfort food designed for guests to enjoy on any occasion. The menu consists of signature appetizers, main plates, and ingredients that are sourced locally and creatively constructed. Guests can grab a hearty breakfast at Doug’s Diner, independently owned and located just outside our lobby.

Do the restaurants have a dress code?

Neither restaurant has a dress code, although The Douglas Kitchen & Cocktails is more of a fine dining experience (no jacket required).

Do I need reservations for either of the restaurants?

At Upper Deck, reservations are not required, but suggested. Walk-ins are welcome but may require a wait at peak dining times. Please call (720) 676-1516 or reserve your table online. At The Douglas Kitchen & Cocktails, we encourage reservations prior to arrival. For parties of more than 10 guests, please call in advance to arrange. Please reach out to our hostess to make your reservations at (720) 676-1503 or reserve your table online.

Where can I see the menu for Upper Deck?

You are able to visit the menus for Upper Deck at this link. Please note that if you have dietary restrictions call to make reservations at (720) 676-1516 and we will be happy to make arrangements for your dinner.

Where can I see the menu for The Douglas?

You are able to visit the menus for The Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails at this link. Please note that if you have dietary restrictions call to make reservations at (720) 676-1503 and we will be happy to make arrangements for your dinner.

Do the menus at Upper Deck and The Douglas offer gluten-free and vegetarian options?

Yes, our Chef offers a menu that is advantageous to all guests.

Do either of the restaurants have outdoor dining options?

Yes, we have outdoor seating and dining options in both Upper Deck and The Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails. Please call in advance for a reservation for outdoors in The Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails.

Do you have a kids menu in The Douglas?

Yes, we do offer a kids menu at The Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails.

Do you offer room service?

Yes, we offer a limited menu of both our menus. Room service hours are from 4 pm - 9 pm.

Does Ascent on Main have a bar or lounge?

Yes, we do have a bar located within both The Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails and Upper Deck. The bar offers an extensive wine list featuring over 100 labels, crafted cocktails, and local beers from breweries within Colorado. The bar opens at 4 pm daily and closes anywhere from 9 pm - 10 pm.

Are there restaurants within walking distance of Ascent on Main?

Yes, there is a great variety of one-of-a-kind restaurants featuring varying price points within walking distance of the hotel. If you are wanting to experience fine dining, pizzerias, cafés, and ice cream parlors, it is a short walk. Visit www.downtownparker.com for a listing of local restaurants.

How close is Ascent on Main from downtown Denver, CO?

We are in the heart of Parker, CO, 20 miles south of downtown Denver which is approximately 20 – 30 minutes depending on the time of day.

How close is Ascent on Main from Denver International Airport?

We are 23 miles from Denver International Airport (Code: DEN). The Denver International Airport offers many direct flights to major cities including London. DIA can be quite crowded during peak travel times. Allow plenty of time to navigate throughout the airport, including the trains that take you to each terminal.

How do I get to Ascent on Main from the Denver International Airport?

Ascent on Main is located right off Parker Road-State Highway CO-83.

Get on Peña Blvd from Service Rd and E 78th Ave | 7 min (2.8 mi)
Take E-470 S to CO-83 and go South on Parker Rd in Parker.
○ Take exit 5 from E-470 S | 23 min (25.6 mi)
Follow CO-83 going South on ParkerRd. Drive to Mainstreet | 6 min (3.0 mi)
Turn East on Mainstreet to Dransfeldt Rd.
North on Dransfeldt Rd to Stage Run
West on Stage Run and Ascent on Main will be on your left

Does Ascent on Main offer electric vehicle charging stations?

We do not currently have access to a vehicle charging station. There is a charging station 1 mile away (3 minute drive) at SemaConnect Charging Station | 10495 S Progress Way, Parker CO 80134.

How much should transportation generally cost for rideshare/taxi from the airport?

Typically, these costs may vary depending on the time of year, number of guests in the vehicle, and distance. For rideshare (Uber/Lyft), you should anticipate spending $50-$60 one way + gratuity.

Is there a rental car facility near Ascent on Main?

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is within a 1.5 mile radius (3 minute drive) of Ascent. The address is 6220 Progress Ln, Parker CO 80134 and the phone number is (720) 851-2086. Is Ascent on Main located within Historic Parker?

We're on the West End of Downtown Parker, just east (less than a mile) of Historic Downtown Mainstreet with additional boutiques, one-of-a-kind restaurants and nightlife.

Does Ascent on Main have gift certificates/gift cards?

Yes, you can purchase certificates in person through guest services at the front reception. Additionally, you can purchase gift cards for our two restaurants, Upper Deck and The Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails.

Is Ascent on Main pet friendly?

Who do I call for lost and found?

Guest services can reach out to our in-house team to do a search for any lost items that may be missing. We keep all lost and found items for 30 days and then donate to a local charity. Items can be mailed via UPS with a guest credit card.

Does the hotel allow smoking on the premises?

No, we are a 100% smoke-free hotel and environment including our guest rooms and outdoor patios.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Our check-in time is 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. We certainly will do our best to provide early check-ins and late departures although this is based on availability and not guaranteed.

May I store my luggage before check-in and after check-out?

Yes, we do have luggage storage available for guests prior to check-in and afterwards at no additional charge so you can take advantage of all there is to do in the Parker Area.

May I pay extra for a late check-out or early check-in?

Yes, late check-out and early check-in are based on availability and additional fees may apply.

Is there a cost for Wi-Fi?

We offer free Wi-Fi.

Does Ascent on Main have a business center?

Yes, our business center is located across from the fitness rooms and is equipped with computers, Wi-Fi, and printers. Guest Services may also assist you with scanning or copies. Fees may be associated based on your requests.

May I send packages in advance to my stay at Ascent on Main?

Yes, you may send packages in advance to Ascent on Main at 18595 Mainstreet, Parker, CO 80134. Attention: Guest name and arrival date.

What is the Ascent on Main cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance prior to arrival unless specified differently on your reservation.

How can I modify my reservation?

Please call Ascent on Main at (720) 572-1910 and speak with guest services.

Can I provide a different credit card at check-in than the one I used to make the reservation?

Yes, you may change the form of payment at the time of check-in with Guest Services. Also, you may change the form of payment at check-out.

Will there be a hold placed on funds for my stay?

Yes, we place a hold for the room and tax +$200 per day for incidentals. It can take 7–10 business days upon departure for the authorization to be returned to your bank account.

What is the minimum age for guests to stay at Ascent?

The minimum age for a guest to check-in to Ascent on Main is 21-years-old.

Do children stay free?

Yes, children do stay free up to age 18.

Does Ascent have a fitness center?

Our fitness center is located on the first floor of the hotel near the exit by the parking lot and has 24-hour room key access. Fitness equipment includes free weights, treadmills, yoga mats, elliptical, bicycles, and bands.

Does Ascent on Main have jogging paths near Ascent on Main?

We have 27+ miles of jogging paths around Parker. The entrance to Cherry Creek Trail is located one block west of the hotel. In addition, Parker has over 250 acres of developed parkland, the closest being Bar CCC Park, located on the southwest corner of Twenty Mile and Mainstreet.

Does Ascent on Main have a pool?

No, there is no outdoor or indoor pool at Ascent.

Are there meeting facilities onsite at Ascent on Main?

Yes, we have the Roosevelt Meeting Room which is 1000 square feet, tech-forward, accommodates 60 people, and is located right off the main lobby. Also, we have The Summit that can accommodate a maximum of 60 guests and sits on the west side of the building on the fourth floor, offering an elevated vantage point of the Front Range. Our intimate Hospitality Suite accommodates up to 10 people and can be set as a bridal suite, a board room, or a one-on-one executive meeting space. What size groups can you accommodate at Ascent on Main?

We can accommodate any size group from 2 guests to 60 depending on the setup requirements, type of event that you are hosting, and specifications required.

Can I bring my own audiovisual to my meeting at Ascent on Main?

We do allow this although we have and can provide the services onsite to make your meeting seamless with our preferred in-house audiovisual provider. We are capable of having virtual meetings, including full recordings of the meeting, and are happy to provide an estimate. If you determine that you would prefer to utilize your audiovisual team there may be a minimal fee accessed.

Can I bring in my own food and beverage to my meeting room?

No, we do not allow for outside food and beverage. The only exception is the wedding and groom’s cake at a wedding reception. You can have a bakery bring in a cake from an outside vendor when it is arranged prior to the day of the wedding.

Does Ascent on Main offer business rates or negotiated room rates?

We do offer discounted room rates for businesses and would be pleased to discuss further based on the number of rooms needed and frequency. Please email sales@ascentonmain.com for additional information.

Does Ascent on Main offer extended stay room rates?

Yes, we do offer discounted room rates for an extended stay, which is typically anything above 14+ nights. Please reach out directly to sales@ascentonmain.com for the time period you are requesting.

How close is Ascent on Main from the Denver Tech Center business district?

We are a short distance to the Denver Tech Center. It is approximately 13 miles, which is typically a 15-minute drive.

Does Ascent on Main have any entertainment available?

On the weekends, we often have a locally talented person playing the piano and/or guitar. This is not always guaranteed so please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see the evenings that we are having live music.

Are there local entertainment venues within walking distance of Ascent on Main?

Yes, Parker has several places within a short walking distance down Mainstreet. In addition to several restaurants with live music, Discovery Park and the PACE Center offer art, theatre, and live music. Go to parkerarts.org for a listing of events, restaurants, and venues within Parker.

Colorado Horse Park is a 15-minute drive from Ascent on Main.

Are there any state parks near Ascent on Main?

Castlewood Canyon is a beautiful Colorado State Park, 5 miles south of Parker near Franktown. It is a great location for hiking, mountain biking, birding, and so much more.
